About Iris

The Iris Service is a space-based data communication service for operational ATN-B1/ATS-B2 Controller Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) and ATS-B2 aircraft-to-Air Navigation Service Providers surveillance-related information (ADS-C).

The Iris Service is provided by ESSP as the pan-European certified Iris Service Provider (ISP).

About ESSP

ESSP is the only company with an EASA certificate for the provision of services based on two different space-based systems, one in navigation and one in communications to enable support of ATM operations at global level.

ESSP’s core business is the provision of pan-European space-based Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) services. As multi-service CNS provider, ESSP operate complex space-based systems and deliver critical services under strict regulatory conditions.
